Handmade Furniture

We love it. Designing it, making it, using it; it’s what we’re about. Our goal is to help as many people as possible become well acquainted with some good quality handmade furniture that they can’t get enough of. We dream of one day living in a society free of flatpacks and dodgy imports; so we do what we can towards achieving this noble goal.

We make tables, chairs, cabinets, beds, benches, and anything else. We always use traditional cabinet making joinery techniques, which gives our handmade furniture the stamina to outlast anything put together with an allen key; no matter how well the instructions were followed.

Most of our handmade furniture is made from native reclaimed or recycle timber; we also use a bit of new timber (mostly American white oak). But we think reclaimed timber is more fun. It’s cool to think that your coffee table used to be an old pier or barn or bridge or something right? Plus it has more character, like old rusty nail holes and interesting colouration from age. But then again, if that’s not your style, we can also use featureless boards to provide a sleek modern look. Check out our this page if you would like to find out more about our timber.
