Custom Made Furniture – Smith + Thomas Melbourne
We like to think that our specialty is custom made furniture, and we enjoy working with people to make them their ideal piece of furniture. To this end we offer a free design service.
Let me explain:
- So you inquire about custom design through this contact form or by email or phone.
- We’ll then ask a few follow up questions until we have all the information we need. Things like: dimensions; timber; intended use; desirable features; style; and any examples or photos of other furniture the customer has or likes.
- We sketch up some 3D renderings like the one at the bottom of this page.
- We revise the sketches until we arrive at a design you’re happy with.
- We can then provide a price based on the sketches.
If you wish to place an order, we can then start building the piece as soon as we receive a 50% deposit.
If not, that’s fine. We’ll leave the sketches with you to do with as you please.
