Spotted Gum Console

This hall table was made to fit a specific hallway space. We designed this piece through talks with the customer, from photos and descriptions of their style preferences and functional needs, and after several revisions arrived at a design which satisfied all criteria. This console is made from solid Spotted Gum (you can see this species growing in the background of the photo). It’s one of our favourite timbers because it’s  so full of character, and its also super durable and heavy. The drawer is fitted with top quality soft close runners and the whole thing is finished in 4 coats of Danish furniture oil.
